About Lynn

 My name is Lynn (she/her), I am currently a provisional registrant with the College of Counselling Therapists of PEI. I have an undergraduate degree in psychology from UPEI and a master’s degree from Yorkville University in counselling psychology, and professional certificates in both Adult Education and Employment Services from Dalhousie University. I base my work in a trauma-informed, person-centered framework and strive to create an atmosphere of safety, working in collaboration with my clients to help them in their unique therapeutic journeys. I utilize an integrative approach in session by blending aspects of various therapeutic modalities such as positive psychology, narrative and strength-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). As your counsellor, you will receive unconditional positive regard, warmth, empathy, and always be treated with dignity and respect.
