About Lynn

My name is Lynn (she/her), I am a general registrant with the College of Counselling Therapists of PEI. I have an undergraduate degree in psychology from UPEI, a master’s degree from Yorkville University in counselling psychology, and professional certificates in both Adult Education and Employment Services from Dalhousie University. I base my work in a trauma-informed, person-centered framework and strive to create an atmosphere of safety, working in collaboration with my clients to help them in their unique therapeutic journeys. I utilize aspects of various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and positive psychology. As your counsellor, you will receive unconditional positive regard, warmth, empathy, and always be treated with dignity and respect.
