Julie Lindsay, CCC, CT

 

Julie Lindsay, MEd, CT, CCC, is a registered Counselling Therapist working with teens, adults, families, couples, and 2SLGBTQI+ clients.  As well, Julie facilitates PTSD Recovery Groups and CBT-I Groups (for insomnia). 


Julie is originally from Halifax, NS, but spent 27 years overseas living and working in locations like Japan, Syria, China, the Philippines, and India.  


Julie loves bringing mindfulness and strengths-based support to clients. She has background and training in CBT, CBT-I,  SFT, Mindfulness (MBSR), as well as various trauma-informed approaches like CPT.  She strives everyday to provide a safe and secure space to explore client needs and goals. 


Julie holds graduate degrees from Mount Saint Vincent University, Halifax, and Lehigh University, Pennsylvania, as well as undergraduate degrees from Dalhousie University, Halifax and Carleton University, Ottawa. Julie is accepting clients for in person sessions in Charlottetown on Wednesdays.  On Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday she is seeing clients in person and virtually in her home practice in eastern PEI.
